About Us Day of Wedding Coordinators

About Us

Here, at A Bride a Day, we have all been brides, so we understand all the effort that goes into the planning and execution of the big day. With a to-do list that is probably a mile long, the last thing you want to worry about is how all your planning is going to play out on your wedding day.

That is where we come into the picture. At A Bride a Day, we cater to the DIY bride. Our Day-of Coordinators (also commonly referred to as Month-of Coordinators because we begin taking over vendor communication and planning a month or so before the wedding) take your plans and bring them to life. While your coordinator is dealing with the vendors, caterers, florists, DJs, bartenders, and security, you will be in the bridal suite, getting pampered with hair and makeup, and sipping on a glass of champagne. Our coordinators are here to handle every single detail to make your day magical. We take away the stress of managing the vendors, keeping the bridal party on schedule, and ensuring the proper flow of the reception. Your day should be as flawless as your makeup and we are here to make that happen!

A Letter from the Boss

Hello!

My name is Monica Davis and I am the Owner and Lead Coordinator at A Bride a Day. I have spent the majority of my career working in marketing, with a focus on corporate event planning and vendor management. I have planned events of all sizes, from small business lunches with a few clients, to international trade shows all over the world.

Now how did I get into wedding coordinating, you ask?

When my husband and I got married in 2014, we did not think we needed a wedding planner or a day-of coordinator. So many brides, like myself, are opting to plan their own weddings since there are so many resources available to us nowadays. With the help of a few Pinterest boards and lots of Google searches, my mom and I were able to pull together the wedding of my dreams.

Then it was our wedding day.

While I was in the bridal suite getting ready for the wedding, my mom was running around like a crazy woman dealing with the stresses that come with communicating with different vendors, setting up decorations and displays, and keeping everyone on schedule. During the reception, she had to call all the shots and keep in constant contact with all the vendors. At the end of the night, she stayed late to clean up, pack up wedding gifts, and tip the vendors. She spent the entire day worrying about the tiny details when she should have been spending time with friends and family.

I created A Bride a Day so other brides and their closest family members are able to enjoy the day to the fullest. A Bride a Day offers the services I wish I had when I got married. We keep our rates very budget-friendly, as those opting to plan their own weddings (like myself) probably have a very specific budget in mind. By providing unparalleled customer service to our brides, we promise to make your wedding day a breeze for you and all your loved ones!

With love,

Monica
